VirtuOz Continues Strong Growth with Key Management Hire

Software Marketing Veteran to Help Fuel Company Expansion

San Francisco, CA – July 30, 2009

VirtuOz, the leading provider of virtual support and sales agent solutions, today announced the appointment of Mark Gaydos, as Vice-President of Worldwide Marketing. Gaydos brings deep marketing expertise to the VirtuOz management team from a long career with software companies. His focus will be to expand the company’s market presence by promoting the value customers are getting today from the VirtuOz solution.

“Mark is joining the VirtuOz management team at a great time,” commented co-founder and CEO Alexandre Lebrun. “Enterprises are starting to recognize the significant value virtual agents can provide in their customer interaction strategy. Creating interactive dialogs with customers with a SaaS solution can significantly improve both support and sales efforts. Mark is a key part of ensuring potential customers hear about the great value we are already delivering companies today like eBay, L’Oreal and SFR.”

Gaydos brings more than 20 years of successful marketing and product management experience to VirtuOz. Previously, Mark was Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Tripwire, a leader in data center compliance and infrastructure management solutions. Prior to Tripwire, Mark held a variety of marketing roles at software companies, such as Oracle, SAP, and Comergent. Mark also is an instructor at UC Berkeley Extension where he has been teaching for over a decade – a course he founded on software product management and product marketing. Gaydos has an M.B.A. in management science from San Diego State University and a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

“What I really like about VirtuOz is that we have a very straight-forward value proposition for enterprises,” commented Gaydos. “Instead of just letting customers search for their own answers on the web, to questions or problems they have with a company’s products/services, VirtuOz can proactively guide them with virtual agents to the right solutions for their specific needs – the result is lower service costs and more satisfied customers.”
