Alexandre Lebrun – Founder and CEO

Leading the VirtuOz vision since 2002, Alexandre wrote the first algorithms that gave birth to today’s VirtuOz Virtual Agents. Prior to VirtuOz, Alexandre was Head of Product Management at KDS, a leading venture-backed European SaaS provider of travel and expense management solutions. Prior to KDS, Alexandre worked at France Telecom in China where he successfully handled technical due diligence on M&A transactions. He is also a non-executive shareholder of Asiance, an interactive marketing agency he co-founded in Korea in 2001. Alexandre Lebrun holds a M.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Ecole Polytechnique, and a MSEE from Telecom Paris (ENST). He also holds a degree in Chinese Language and Culture from INALCO University in Paris.

George Wright – Vice President of Worldwide Sales

George brings over 25 years of sales and management experience in high-tech software solutions. He joins VirtuOz from Sugar CRM where he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Previously, George was Senior Vice President and General Manager of World Wide Field Operations for Epiphany Inc., a leading provider of customer relationship management (CRM) software solutions where he oversaw day-to-day operations of sales, renewals, professional services and education. After joining Epiphany in 1998, he helped to grow revenues from zero to a run-rate of $250 million in three years and a successful IPO in 1999. George also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager at SAP America, Inc, and is a veteran of both Oracle Corporation and Netscape Communications Corporation. George holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the State University of New York, Plattsburgh.

Dan Teodosiu – Vice President of Engineering

Dan has over 20 years of experience developing successful consumer and enterprise software. Most recently, he founded and built a global development hub for Microsoft in Dublin, Ireland. Previously, Dan held Senior Architect positions in the MSN and in Windows Server divisions at Microsoft. Dan co-founded XDegrees, a Bay Area start-up that was acquired by Microsoft in 2002. His prior industry experience includes working for Hewlett-Packard Labs in Palo Alto, CA, and for Alcatel Research in Vienna, Austria. Dan holds a PhD and MS from Stanford University. He has filed over 50 US and international patents.

Mark Gaydos – Vice President of Worldwide Marketing

Gaydos brings more than 20 years of enterprise marketing and product management experience to VirtuOz. Previously, Mark was Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Tripwire, a leader in data center compliance and infrastructure management solutions. Prior to Tripwire, Mark held a variety of marketing roles at software companies, such as Oracle, SAP, and Comergent. Mark also is an instructor at UC Berkeley Extension where he has been teaching for over a decade – a course he founded on software product management and product marketing. Gaydos has an M.B.A. in management science from San Diego State University and a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Pascal Levy-Garboua – Co-Founder and Vice President of Business Development

A Graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Stanford University, Pascal has held several business development positions at BCG in Paris, Persuasive Technology Lab in Stanford, California, and France Telecom in the US. In 2004, Pascal joined eBay France as the Development Manager for high-tech and media markets, and was later appointed Security Marketing Manager.

Laurent Landowski – Co-Founder and Vice President of Professional Services

Laurent was responsible for solutions deployment at KDS in the US prior to co-founding VirtuOz. He is the inventor of an active security system for motorcycle riders. Laurent holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Ecole Centrale.

Callixte Cauchois – Co-Founder and Chief Architect

Prior to co-founding VirtuOz, Callixte was an Associate Director of Research and Development at KDS, an industry-leading enterprise software solutions company. In 1998, Callixte developed the first version of KDS’s software. He holds a degree from the Ecole Nationale SupĂ©rieure de Techniques AvancĂ©es (ENSTA) in Paris and is an Arab language specialist.
